i've been a very guai person and doing my tuts and stuff.. which is quite a bit of work.. anyways.. i've booked my hotel and tix and hopefully i'll be well on my way to Paris and Barcelona if nothing cocks up with my visa.. cross your fingers and toes!!!

So is the visa thing settled yet? And I still don't understand how come u have to book everything before you ge your visa. Book only or you paid as well?

hey girls,

i've settled down already and have even begun to travel round UK.. ok that was a bit of an exaggeration.. i've only been to birmingham,nottingham and london.. but it's a start.

qing, i did find out that i need a visa but the weird thing is before i even think of applying for a visa to enter europe, i must first confirm my travel arrangements (read: book and pay in full for the hotel and airticket).. i'm like what?!?! what if i can't get my visa then i would have spent my money for nothing.. so trying to resolve that now..

btw i've seen the ppt.. thank you girls so very much!! i saw it on my 2nd day here and i started blubbering cos i suddenly missed home and missed you guys.. before that i was still ok.. anyway i'm hanging on over here so don't worry...

ok let me gush about london here.. so i don't have to do it in my blog.. london is so fun!! there's so many things to look at.. and the shopping looks so good! they have got more variety and stuff just dont' have the sizes.. haha.. thanks to me being such a petite girl.. haha..

i've been to harrods.. the food hall is amazing and i ate 5 Krispy Kreme doughnuts.. it was just heavenly!! i went to Topshop which was humongous!! and... i don't really remember where i went to next.. oh this humongous (think 7 stories high) toy store which has just about everything and more.. they've got this bear factory in there.. i saw it on TV back in Sing.. where you can choose your teddy.. choose the stuffing and they'll make it then and there.. what's so cool is that you can record a message and put it inside the bear.. is that cool or what?? but it starts from S$18 onwards.. so yah.. thinking about it.. if only i had all the money to just buy whatever i want.. haha.. then again.. i might not treasure all that i buy...

ok gotta run for lecture now.. i'm going for horseriding lessons next wednesday.. cross your fingers that i won't fall from the horse!!

First of all: Chill, dude! You ain't doing your flu any good
Second: Drink more water
Third: Why didn't you check if you need a visa first instead of going about happily making arrangements? Always check if you need a visa. This is exactly the reason why i don't want to change my citizenship.
Fourth: Fuck your housemates and make new friends. Invite them over, throw a great party and irritate the hell out of them.

We all will meet people whom you don't fit in with. Like me now with my previous clique that i never really understood their little innane jokes. And if they don't even have the basic decency to at least act like you guys have to tolerate each other and try to make things better. Too fucking bad. Seriously, no point stressing yourself out over rich brats. You want to know why they came for exchange? To have somewhere to spend all the money they can and whine to new people coz the people in sing are already sick of their whining. So there.

I dunno bout meeting up soon y'all. Exams and all and everything. Maybe we can get together to study or sth like that.

anyway, it's a crazy week for me with 2 presentation this friday! and a 15 page assignment to hand in too! and on top of that, exams are coming!!! Man, i had better not fail anything this semester
